Treci Fields Works to Complete Dance Internship
Treci was invited to join Newground Theatre Dance Company in San Mateo as a guest artist for their summer dance piece "Shekinah". Director's Notes: Shekinah is the unifying force within every soul, returning us to our connection with each other as one species, despite differences in outer appearance. It is said that when a person opens their heart and allows the “Shekinah” to enter, their entire physiology changes, and this inner “shift” opens the doorway for others to shift. In today’s fast paced world of corporate systems and technology, it is now more important than ever to return to the Shekinah . . . “The Indwelling Presence” that lives inside.

THE MISTRESS OF WHOLESOME – a one act comedy script where ‘mistress’ takes on ‘wife.’
In this one act comedy script, Gwen, ‘the mistress’ surprises Margaret, ‘the wife’ of Leland, a prominent cardiologist in their home. According to Gwen, Leland has now fallen back in love with Margaret as the couple has gotten closer in their efforts to adopt a baby. Gwen is ‘very put out’ and wants Margaret to convince Leland to fall back in love with his mistress so that things can be the same as they were for the past few years.
Things get even more complicated in this one act comedy script when a lady from the adoption agency arrives to interview Leland and Margaret and to screen them as potential parents. When it turns out that Leland is actually locked in the trunk of Gwen’s car across town, the two women must act fast to salvage a situation that is going downhill at a rate of knots!
“Acting can be the healthiest profession in the world, because it allows you to do things you can't do in real life. It allows you to understand more than just what life provides you.”
